Hikurangi Community Trail Ride

CALLING ALL HIKURANGI COMMUNITY GROUPS AND SPORTS CLUBS!

We know times are tough for our local community groups and sports clubs with covid taking it's toll financially and by restricting attending numbers.  HBA has for a long time been trying to organize a community trail ride in our area to support our community and to offer a new venue for trail riders to utilise.

Introducing......the Hikurangi Community Trail Ride 2022!

ENTRY INFORMATION  This event is organized by HBA on behalf of local community groups and clubs, with all profits from this event being given back to the participating community groups and clubs. Each community group and club has the right to spend their share of the proceeds on any project/costs they see fit.  Upon entry it is noted that the fee paid is for the purposes of participating in the trail ride only, and any food etc will be available on site for an extra cost which goes back to the pool of money getting divided between the contributing community groups and clubs.

No pillion passengers

NO Side-by-sides

No expert track established

Children’s track will be available for use under parental supervision (or not at your own risk)

Food, cold drink, and coffee sales available on site

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult

Sign in 9am, track opens 10amLast rider entry 3pm, track closes 4pm

COVID CRITERIA: Following red framework criteria this is a vaccine pass only event.  Maximum numbers of 100 per half day apply, so ticket sales are limited.  Participants are required to provide their own masks and wear them whilst around food/drink stalls.  Sanitiser will be available at food/drink stalls and at the toilets.

PARTICIPANTS INDEMNITY FORM  Upon participating in this event, I agree to the indemnity of the organizers of this event (HBA), their respective officials, all supporters and sponsors of this event, the owners and tenants of the private property being utilised for this event, and all other participants against all losses, actions, claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of death, injury to myself or others, or damage to any property of my own or any other persons arising out of connection with this event.  The motorcycle/ATV I will be riding will be safe and in a trail worthy condition.  I will abide by the rules set out, follow directions of designated officials, and attend any riders briefings as requested.  I acknowledge and accept that all precautions have been taken to ensure the tracks are as safe as possible, and that trail riding is considered and extreme sport with considerable risk involved. I accept that my riding behaviour and the riding behaviour of any minors in my care will contribute to my safety at this event.
