Hikurangi ANZAC Parade & Poppy Day

Every year Hikurangi hosts events to remember those lost.  This year the annual parade will go ahead, weather dependent with a backup option if the weather packs in.  There is also a lunch afterwards as well as the opportunity to go through the Hikurangi museum which also homes some historic war memorabilia.

Please don't forget to bring some change into town on Friday to contribute to the poppy day donations, this is a great opportunity to engage with your children about the importance of ANZAC day and educate them as to what it's all about.
