Rally Returns to Hikurangi 2023

The International Rally of Whangarei is returning to Hikurangi again in 2023 for 4 rural rally stages as well as the Hikurangi refuel.  Set aside the date Saturday 13th May and come along and watch the fun!

Rural Stages

These are the same as they have been for the last four years with four stages in rural Hikurangi.  Check out the International Rally of Whangarei facebook page or eventfinda page for further details and links to maps and public viewing sites etc.

Refuel and Meet the Drivers

This will be held on the corners of George St and King St again with 2 refuels taking place during the day.  These are usually between 9am to 11am and again between 2pm and 4pm.  This is a great opportunity to come along and meet the drivers, see the cars, pickup some cool signed posters, and of course join in the annual gumboot throw!  Please take note of the ROAD CLOSURES MAP at the bottom of this page to see which areas are effected by road closures on this date.
